Farm Investor Requirements: $300,000 investment, $500,000 net worth, 3 years experience of farm ownership or operation

  • Business experience:  3 years’ successful business/ management experience;
  • Net worth: Minimum $600,000 of which $300,000 must be available in unencumbered liquidity.
  • Business ownership: Own at least 33.33% ownership
  • IELTS: CLB 5
  • Minimum Investment: A minimum of CAD$250,000
  • Job creation: Create at least 1 full-time job for Canadian citizens or PR;

Northwest Territory Business Stream

  • Business experience:  3 years’ successful business/ management experience;
  • Net worth: Minimum $500,000 or $250,000 (outside Yellowknife)
  • Business ownership: Own at least 33.33% ownership
  • IELTS: CLB 4
  • Minimum Investment: A minimum of CAD$150,000, or $CAD300,000 (in Yellowknife)
  • Job creation: Create at least 1 full-time job for Canadian citizens or PR;

Entrepreneur Stream

  • Business experience:  3 years’ successful business/ management experience;
  • Net worth: Minimum $600,000
  • Business ownership: Own at least 33.33% ownership
  • IELTS: CLB 5
  • Minimum Investment: A minimum of CAD$150,000
  • Job creation: Create at least 1 full-time job for Canadian citizens or PR;

Entrepreneur Stream

  • Business experience:  3 years of successful business/ 5 years of business management experience;
  • Net worth: Minimum $600,000 (outside GTA) or CAD$800,000 (GTA)
  • Business ownership: Own at least 33.33% ownership
  • IELTS: CLB 4
  • Minimum Investment: A minimum of CAD$200,000 (outside GTA) or CAD$600,000 (GTA). If the proposed business is in ICT sector then the investment in GTA is CAD$200,000.
  • Job creation: Create at least 1 full-time job for Canadian citizens or PR;

Entrepreneur Program

  • Business experience:  3 years of successful business/ 5 years of business management experience;
  • Net worth: Minimum $500,000
  • Business ownership: Own at least 33.33% ownership
  • IELTS: CLB 5
  • Minimum Investment: A minimum of CAD$300,000 (Regina or Saskatoon). For other areas, invest CAD$200,000

2. Quebec Immigrant Investor Program (QIIP)

The government of Quebec offers investment options to business owners and entrepreneurs who have a high net worth. Quebec Immigrant Investor Program (QIIP) is one of the popular Canada Investor visa programs that offer permanent residency (PR) to successful candidates. 

Requirements for Quebec Investor Program:

  • Legally acquired net assets of at least C$2,000,000;
  • Have management experience for at least two years in the five years;
  • Intend to settle in Québec;

3. Start-Up Visa (SUV)
